Level Field Hub (LFH) Community Rules
LFH is a network of communities built by parents, athletes, and sports professionals who want clearer paths through youth and amateur sports.
Here, you can ask questions, share experiences, learn how systems work, get perspective, and build confidence—so you or your child can participate, develop, and advance with fewer blind spots and less stress.
Not every discussion will match every sport, team culture, or family situation. That’s normal. What’s not acceptable is using the community as a weapon. LFH exists to increase clarity and belonging—not diminish it for others.
Everyone here deserves a baseline expectation of privacy and safety. Respect the privacy of others. Protect minors. Keep conversations focused on growth.
Each LFH community is defined by its members. Some members volunteer as moderators. Culture is shaped both explicitly (by rules enforced by moderators) and implicitly (by how members respond—what gets supported, what gets redirected, and what gets removed).
Participate where you belong. Follow the rules where you post. Don’t disrupt spaces you’re not part of.
Below are the LFH platform-wide rules that apply everywhere. They’re enforced by LFH administrators and moderators. LFH only works if we operate by a shared set of standards—both the letter and the spirit.
LFH Platform-Wide Rules
Rule 1 — Remember the human (and protect the athlete)
LFH is for constructive community—not attacks. No harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats. No degrading comments about athletes, parents, coaches, officials, administrators, teams, schools, or clubs.
No negative comments to or about other people. If it doesn’t help someone improve or make a better decision, don’t post it.
Rule 2 — Stay constructive and solutions-first
Post to educate, clarify, and help others move forward. You can disagree—without being disrespectful.
Not allowed:
- dogpiling / pile-ons
- sarcasm meant to belittle
- “call-out” posts designed to shame or rally people against someone
Allowed:
- describing a situation without naming or identifying people
- asking for next steps
- sharing lessons learned in a way that others can apply
Rule 3 — Respect privacy (no doxxing, no screenshots to embarrass)
Do not post personal, confidential, or identifying information about others—especially minors.
Not allowed:
- names, photos, school/team identifiers, or “everyone knows who I mean” descriptions
- screenshots of texts/emails/DMs intended to expose or embarrass
- sharing someone’s private information or encouraging others to contact them
Rule 4 — Protect minors (zero tolerance)
No sexual, abusive, exploitative, or suggestive content involving minors. No grooming behavior, inappropriate messaging, or predatory conduct. Any credible safety concern may be escalated and reported.
Rule 5 — Be authentic (no impersonation, no deception)
You don’t have to use your real name, but don’t impersonate a person or organization, fabricate credentials, or intentionally mislead others.
Rule 6 — Keep the experience predictable (label sensitive content)
If content could be emotionally heavy, triggering, graphic, or otherwise sensitive, label it clearly. Moderators may remove content that is likely to inflame conflict or violate the constructive standard.
Rule 7 — Keep it legal and safe
No illegal content. No solicitation or facilitation of illegal or prohibited transactions. No encouragement of cheating, retaliation, harassment, or rule-breaking.
Rule 8 — No licensed professional advice (coaching and guidance only)
LFH is a peer-learning and coaching community. Content is general educational guidance—not professional advice.
Not allowed:
- medical advice, mental health counseling, legal advice, financial/investment advice, tax advice, or anything requiring a license
- diagnosis, prescriptions, legal directives (“you should sue”), or professional-client relationship language (“as your attorney/doctor/therapist…”)
LFH does not create any professional relationship between you and LFH, its owners, moderators, or members. You are responsible for your decisions and should consult qualified professionals for regulated matters.
Rule 9 — Don’t break the platform
No spam, automated scraping, brigading, vote manipulation, or behavior that interferes with normal use of LFH.
Enforcement
We enforce these rules to protect the culture and the people in it. Enforcement actions may include:
- Friendly reminder / request to edit
- Formal warning
- Comment or post removal
- Temporary muting or suspension
- Permanent removal from LFH
- Removal of privileges (posting, commenting, or access to certain spaces)
Moderators can remove content that violates the rules or undermines the spirit of LFH (positivity, privacy, athlete-centered growth), even if it tries to “stay technical.”
